ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES

We have today introduced a new environmental policy which will see us re-cycling even more of the waste products from our business. We have invested in a new shredding machine which will allow us to re-use all of our junk mail and non-confidential waste paper as packaging materials.

Merry Christmas Everyone

On behalf of everybody at The Accston Trading Company, I would like to wish everyone reading this a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.

2007 has had some dark times in my families personal life with the very sad deaths of two close family members and numerous other trials and tribulations throughout the year. Let's hope 2008 has better things in store.

However, there have also been some great times as well and 2007 has seen the launch of the company and superb growth in it's first month. Thanks to everyone who has helped and supported in any way.

I would also like to say a special thank you to all of our great customers. It's really encouraging to see so many of you using our shop and then returning to us to buy again. The comments you send telling us how we are doing are brilliant and it seems that our promise to give you great service, exquisite products and fantastic prices is just what you want.

2008 will be even better and will see the company going from strength to strength with new and even more exquisite lines added and some exciting new developments planned. Make sure you check back regularly to find out more.

So that's all for now. I hope you all have a great festive season.

All the best.

Andrew Hall
Proprietor.

The Accston Trading Company is proud to have donated a porcelain Christmas cross as a raffle prize to our friends at the Divine Coffee Shop on Warner Street in Accrington. They held a charity party night in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis society and raised a great £145.

Congratulations to everyone involved.

November 17th 2007

Today we attended our first craft fair as an exhibitor. We went along to Accrington Moorhead Sports College (Incidentally our bosses old school - it has a lot to answer for!) where they were holding a Christmas craft fair.

The day was quite a success with people buying a few items and it was a great day for publicity. We even met the Mayor of Accrington, Councillor Tony Dobson who wished us well with the new business.

Launch day. After much behind the scenes hard work, The Accston Trading Company is finally launched on the internet. The proprietor, Andrew Hall, would like to thank family and friends for the help and support received whilst developing the idea. In addition, thanks go to the Hyndburn Enterprise Trust and the Get Set fund in Pennine Lancashire for their advice, guidance and support whilst setting up the business.

Cheers Everyone.
