ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES

          The Accston Trading Company are committed to doing whatever we practically can to lessen our impact on the environment in which we all live. To this end, we actively participate in reducing both our waste and our energy consumption whenever and wherever we can.

          Our offices and distribution centre use low energy lighting systems and individually controlled thermostatic heating systems. We also re-cycle packaging and materials as much as possible. Please don't be surprised or indeed concerned if your order arrives, packaged in an outer cardboard box previously used for light bulbs or apples. Any material we can re-use, we will so long as it's fit for the job.

          We also re-cycle our waste paper, glass tins and plastics, making full use of the council scheme in operation locally.

          In addition, we now re-use all of our junk mail and non-confidential waste paper by shredding it and using it as packaging for our products.

          We are more than happy to consider any other practical schemes to help reduce our environmental impact and if you have any comments or questions, please do not hesitate to let us know.
